STATISTICS OF THE 1ST EXHIBITION

EXPODATA, the company which operated the reception and registration of the visitors, οn behalf of the organizers, gave remarkable figures.
On the whole, 8,500 companies have chosen to be informed about the latest trends of the market by visiting the exhibition "Supply Chain & Logistics".  The percentage of the provincial companies which took part was also impressive (approximately 35%). Specifically, as it is shown in the diagram, companies that took part in the exhibition were from Macedonia (9,45%), Central Greece (6,78%), Peloponnese (6,31%), Thessaly (2,42%), Crete (2,20%), Aegean islands (2,06%), Ionian islands (1,49), Epirus (1,43%) and Thrace (1,18%). The percentage of companies that came from foreign countries was 1,65%. The dynamic presence of operators from province indicates the strong interest of companies based in places out of Athens, where most of the investments are currently relocating. In addition, percentages of subvention, that the new development law gives, are boosted giving advantages to the companies in the province, according to the conclusion of the Supply Chain & Logistics' event with the theme "Subventions 2007".

In terms of the visitors' professional categories, it is characteristic that 19% referred to gross merchandise companies, 18% to industries and 12% to transport and storage companies. The highest percentage of visits was recorded on Sunday 11 February (37% of the total amount of visitors), following by Saturday 10/2 (32%), Monday 12/2 (19%) and Friday 9/2 (12%).
